EY Announces Janet Truncale as New Global Chair and CEO
EY announces that Janet Truncale has been elected the next EY Global Chair and CEO, effective from July 1st, 2024. Janet will succeed current EY Global Chair and CEO Carmine Di Sibio, who steps down on July 1st, 2024. Janet is currently serving as Regional Managing Partner, EY Americas Financial Services Organization. In this role she leads a diverse team of more than 14,000 professionals throughout the Americas. Janet works closely with EY clients to build a financial services industry in which financial institutions are trusted and flourish, customers’ financial goals are attainable, and the global economy is healthy, growing and secure.
Boy Scouts of America Names Roger Krone as New President and CEO
The Boy Scouts of America has chosen Roger A. Krone to serve as its next President and Chief Executive Officer. Krone recently retired as the Chairman and CEO of Leidos, a $15 billion Fortune 250 government technology solutions firm where, in nine years of leadership, he and his team nearly tripled revenue and more than doubled the workforce. An Eagle Scout who spent summers at Scout camp and Philmont Scout Ranch, Krone regularly applied the lessons he learned in Scouting during an engineering and aerospace career spanning more than 45 years.
Bumble Names Lidiane Jones as New CEO
Bumble announced that it is replacing founder CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd with Slack CEO Lidiane Jones. Jones only started as CEO at Slack last year, replacing another founder CEO, Stewart Butterfield. Jones, whose background includes various roles at Salesforce, Microsoft and Sonos, will be starting at the first of the year.
Slack Names Denise Dresser as New CEO
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff announce that Slack had named Denise Dresser as its next chief executive. She’ll succeed Lidiane Jones, who’s leaving at the end of the year. Dresser, who has worked for Salesforce for 12 years, is president of accelerated industries at Salesforce.
Washington Post Names Will Lewis as New CEO
The Washington Post has named veteran media executive Will Lewis to serve as its new CEO and publisher. Lewis is joining the newspaper at a moment when one of the American news industry’s most storied outlets is struggling against the economic headwinds facing U.S. media companies.
City National Bank Names Howard Hammond as New CEO
City National Bank announced the appointment of Howard Hammond as CEO. Kelly Coffey has been named CEO, City National Entertainment. Both appointments are effective Nov. 27. Hammond brings to City National more than 30 years of financial services experience, including 15 years in leadership positions at Fifth Third Bancorp, a large commercial bank and the ninth largest U.S.-based consumer bank.
Sonar Software Names Ray Bixler as New CEO
Sonar Software has named Ray Bixler as Chief Executive Officer. Bixler will lead the Sonar team in providing comprehensive ISP customer lifecycle management technology while continuing to boost growth and momentum in both fiber and hybrid ISP markets.
Stella McCartney Names Amandine Ohayon as New CEO
Amandine Ohayon is poised to take over as the Chief Executive Officer of the prestigious British luxury brand, Stella McCartney, starting December 1. This announcement comes as a significant move in the fashion industry, marking a new chapter for both Ohayon and Stella McCartney. Ohayon, a graduate of France’s renowned ESSEC business school with an MBA in luxury, brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
NatureWorks Names Erik Ripple as New CEO
NatureWorks has named Erik Ripple as the company’s new president and CEO, replacing Jill Zullo, who has served in the role since March 2023 when former CEO, Rich Altice, retired from NatureWorks.Ripple joins the Minnesota-based bioplastics manufacturer from Nexeon, a UK-based manufacturer of silicon carbide composites for electric vehicle batteries. Before Nexeon, Ripple gained 18 years of experience in the polymer industry at Eastman Chemical Company, where he served in leadership roles in innovation, business management, and corporate development including holding regional responsibilities in Europe.
