UnitedHealthcare Names Tim Noel as New CEO

UnitedHealthcare announced company veteran, Tim Noel, as the new UnitedHealthcare CEO. Noel has been the head of the company’s Medicare and Retirement division. He joined UnitedHealthcare in 2007 and previously was involved in financial restructuring at Northwest Airlines during its bankruptcy proceedings.

Ulta Beauty Names Kecia Steelman as New CEO

Ulta Beauty CEO Dave Kimbell is retiring and will be succeeded by the retailer’s chief operating officer, Kecia Steelman. In recent quarters, Ulta has fought to maintain its spot as a top beauty retailer by carrying new brands, throwing more in-store events and adding additional digital tools. Steelman will now lead those efforts. The company’s incoming CEO has been with Ulta for more than a decade and became its chief operating officer in 2023.

PGA of America Names Derek Sprague as New CEO

The PGA of America has appointed Derek Sprague, a PGA of America Golf Professional and Past President of the Association, as its new Chief Executive Officer. Sprague is the first person to serve the Association as a Past President and CEO. He served as the 39th President from 2014-2016.

Sony Group Names Hiroki Totoki as New CEO

Sony Group is appointing Hiroki Totoki as chief executive officer, a stamp of approval for the longtime finance chief’s push to expand the Japanese company’s entertainment reach. Totoki had taken up more of the leadership burden at Tokyo-based Sony two years prior, when he added the titles of president and chief operating officer to his role as chief financial officer. He provides Sony’s commentary on conference calls after earnings each quarter and has steered the company through a difficult time with prolonged supply shortages of its flagship PlayStation 5 console.

Yum! Brands Names Scott Mezvinsky as New CEO

Yum! Brands has named Scott Mezvinsky as its new KFC CEO. Mezvinsky will assume global responsibility for driving the brand strategy and performance of KFC.

LIV Golf Names Scott O’Neil as New CEO

LIV Golf has named Scott O’Neil as its new CEO. O’Neil will drive the strategic vision, business operations, and global growth for the team golf circuit, LIV Golf.

Tutor Perini Names Gary Smalley as New CEO

US-based construction contractor, Tutor Perini, has appointed Gary Smalley as its chief executive officer (CEO). Smalley served as the company’s president from November 2023 and succeeds Ronald Tutor, who has served as chairman and CEO since 2008. Previously, Smalley also held the roles of executive vice president and chief financial officer at the company.

APC Names Ray Graham as New CEO

Flexible packaging solutions provider, American Packaging Corporation (APC), has announced a leadership transition, with Ray Graham taking over as CEO and president. Graham has been with American Packaging since 2002, where he initially led the company’s Flexographic Printing & Laminating Center of Excellence.

E Source Names Joe Eazor as New CEO

Eazor brings a deep knowledge of E Source, having served as a board member for the last two years, and a track record of success guiding multiple culture-driven growth transformations.

Liberty Media Names Derek Chang as New CEO

Liberty Media Corporation announced that Derek Chang has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Chang is a veteran executive across the global media, sports and entertainment industries. He has led operating, corporate development and investment teams at prominent companies during various stages of growth including EverPass Media, the NBA, DIRECTV, Scripps, Charter and TCI.
