Several corporations made changes to their c-suite in December, 2023.  Following are CEOs that have accepted new positions.

RTX Names Christopher Calio as New CEO

RTX has announced that Christopher T. Calio is to succeed Gregory J. Hayes as Chief Executive Officer at the 2024 RTX Annual Shareowners meeting on 2 May, in a planned leadership transition. Calio was also appointed to the company’s board of directors, effective immediately. Hayes will continue to serve as the Executive Chairman of RTX. Calio previously served as RTX’s President and Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw the company’s three business units. In 2023, he oversaw the realignment of RTX from four to three business segments: Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon.

Levi Strauss & Co. LEVI said that Chief Executive Chip Bergh will be retiring on April 26, and that, ahead of his departure, the company’s board has chosen Michelle Gass, the company president, as his successor.

Discover Financial Services’ board has appointed Michael G. Rhodes as the company’s new chief executive and board member, effective March 6. Rhodes has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, and most recently serves as TD Bank Group’s TD head of Canadian personal banking.

Toyota Financial Services Names Scott Cook as President and CEO

Toyota Financial Services has promoted Scott Cooke to president and CEO. He most recently served as the senior vice president and CFO. Cooke joined Toyota in 2003 and has served on the board of directors for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation and the TFS International Corporation management committee. He also acts as the CFO for the TFS Americas Oceania Region and has held leadership positions in treasury, business intelligence, analytics, and finance during his two decades with the company. Cooke takes over the new post from Mark Templin, who will retain multiple senior positions with Toyota while assuming the title of chairman of the board of Toyota Credit Corporation.

Silicon Valley Clean Energy Names Monica Padilla as New CEO

Monica Padilla has been named the next chief executive officer of Silicon Valley Clean Energy. Padilla has worked at SVCE for five years leading power policy, planning, procurement, regulatory, operations and compliance as the chief operating officer and director of power resources.

Gildan Activewear Names Vince Tyra as New CEO

Gildan Activewear Names Vince Tyra as New CEO

Gildan Activewear appointed a new president and CEO, pushing co-founder Glenn Chamandy from the role. Vince Tyra will step into the role on Feb. 12, 2024. Tyra, a former executive at Fruit of the Loom and Broder Bros., now Alphabroder, has most recently worked for Houchens Industries, a company with holdings in the construction, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and insurance spaces. Craig Leavitt, a member of Gildan’s board of directors, will lead the company in the interim.

DXC Technology Names Raul Fernandez as Interim President and CEO

DXC Technology, a leading Fortune 500 global technology services company, announced that the Company’s Board of Directors has named Board member Raul Fernandez Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Fernandez brings a wealth of executive and operational experience in the technology and investment sectors to the position. He has served as CEO of several companies including Proxicom, which he founded, Dimension Data North America and ObjectVideo.

NOLA Terminal Names Brian Miles as New CEO

NOLA Terminal’s board of directors has named Brian Miles as chief executive officer. Miles served as executive vice president of American Maritime Services/American Environmental & Industrial Services prior to joining NOLA Terminal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in transportation.

Saxx Names Tom Berry as New CEO

Saxx Names Tom Berry as New CEO

Saxx appointed Tom Berry as its new chief executive officer. Berry succeeds CEO Wendy Bennison, who will stay on to support the transition before joining the brand’s board of directors in April.  The new chief most recently served as the president and CEO of Americas at footwear brand Ecco. Berry also previously held various leadership roles at Levi Strauss & Co, Salomon and The North Face.
