Morgan Stanley Names Edward “Ted” Pick as New CEO
Financial services and investment banking giant Morgan Stanley will welcome co-president Edward “Ted” Pick as its new CEO effective on Jan. 1, when he will also join the firm’s board of directors. Pick succeeds James Gorman as Morgan Stanley’s CEO following Gorman’s announcement at the firm’s 2023 annual general shareholder meeting that he intended to step down.
Sherwin-Williams Names Heidi Petz as New CEO
Sherwin-Williams – a leader in the manufacture, development, distribution and sale of paint and coatings – named Heidi Petz as the company’s new CEO effective Jan. 1, 2024. Petz has served as the company’s president and chief operating officer for the last two years and first joined the company in 2017 following Sherwin-Williams’ acquisition of Valspar.
Krispy Kreme Names Josh Charlesworth as New CEO
Popular doughnut chain Krispy Kreme is welcoming Josh Charlesworth as the new president and CEO of the company. Charlesworth takes over from Michael Tattersfield, who served as CEO from 2017 through 2023 and will remain on the company’s board as a senior adviser and brand ambassador as part of Krispy Kreme’s succession plan.
JetBlue Names Joanna Geraghty as New CEO
Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue’s chief operating officer and president, will become the carrier’s next CEO starting February 12, making her the first woman to lead a major U.S. airline.
Wendy’s Names Kirk Tanner as New CEO
Wendy’s has tapped PepsiCo veteran Kirk Tanner as its new chief executive, effective Feb. 5, as the burger chain tries to boost its share price and ease pressure from activist investors.
Sabert Corp Names Paul McCann as New CEO
Sabert Corp., a Sayreville, New Jersey-based packaging provider with a global presence, has appointed Paul McCann as its new CEO, effective immediately. McCann brings to Sabert more than 25 years of experience in the packaging and process industries. In his new role, McCann will lead all aspects of Sabert’s global business operations and strategy and will oversee the company’s North American, European and Asia-Pacific business units and supply chain operations.
Alimentiv Names Pierre Gaudreault as New CEO
Alimentiv Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre Gaudreault as its Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2024. Juice Beauty has announced that Lance Patterson will replace Karen Behnke as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Behnke, founder of Juice Beauty, steps down as CEO but will remain as the Chief Brand Officer. Patterson brings experience from previous CEO roles at Kate Sommerville and other beauty brands and aims to focus on strategic growth at Juice Beauty.
Manchester United Names Omar Berrada as Club’s New CEO
Manchester United have started their overhaul headed up by Ineos’ Sir Jim Ratcliffe with the announcement they have appointed City Football Group’s chief football operations officer, Omar Berrada, as their new chief executive. The club had been on the hunt for a replacement for Richard Arnold, who had left the club in November last year as Ratcliffe’s co-ownership loomed.
BP Names Murray Auchincloss as New CEO
British oil giant BP on Wednesday named veteran employee Murray Auchincloss as chief executive officer following a period as interim boss in the wake of Bernard Looney’s sacking. Canadian national Murray, 53, joined BP in 1998, rising to finance boss four years ago.
