Many companies made changes to their c-suite in the month of May. Today, Chief Executives Council will focus on 11 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) that have accepted new positions.

Paramount Global Names George Cheeks, Chris McCarthy, and Brian Robbins Appointed as Office of the CEO

The Board of Directors of Paramount Global announced that Bob Bakish, President and CEO, is stepping down from his role as CEO and from the Board of Directors. To lead and oversee the company moving forward, Paramount Global has established an Office of the CEO, consisting of three senior company executives: George Cheeks, President and CEO of CBS; Chris McCarthy, President and CEO, Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Media Networks; and Brian Robbins, President and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon. Cheeks, McCarthy and Robbins will work closely with Naveen Chopra, CFO, and the Board of Directors.

Vanguard Names Salim Ramji as New CEO

Vanguard Group named former BlackRock executive Salim Ramji as its new chief executive officer and as a member of the board, effective July 8. Ramji will replace Tim Buckley, whose departure as the chairman and CEO was announced in February.

Italian luxury apparel brand Fendi, owned by the LVMH group, said on Monday that Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou has been appointed its new CEO as of June 1. The global leader in luxury wear said Angeloglou will succeed Serge Brunschwig who, after six years, “will assume new responsibilities within the LVMH group which will be announced shortly.”

Samsung Names Young Hyun Jun as New CEO

Samsung Electronics has named Young Hyun Jun its new Head of Device Solutions Division. The Device Solutions Division is part of Samsung’s semiconductor business, which Jun has been chosen to lead after 24 years with the company. Jun will officially be named President and CEO of Samsung upon approval from the board of directors and shareholders.

Richemont Names Nicholas Bos as New CEO

Compagnie Financière Richemont has appointed Nicolas Bos as CEO. Bos is currently the chief executive of Richemont-owned jewelry brand Van Cleef & Arpels, and in his new position he’ll continue to report to Johann Rupert, Richemont’s chairman.

iClick Names Jeff Roberts as New CEO

iClick Names Jeff Roberts as New CEO

Jeff Hall is retiring as iClick’s CEO, making way for Chief Financial Officer Jeff Roberts to rise to the chief executive position. Roberts was director of finance for Giant Campus and worked in business operations for Microsoft before joining iClick in 2013.

Magnix Names Reed Macdonald as New CEO

Electric propulsion developer Magnix has named longtime avionics and finance executive Reed Macdonald as its next chief executive, filling a role held until recently by former Rolls-Royce executive Nuno Taborda. Macdonald comes to Magnix from his position as CEO of FDS Avionics, which manufactures in-flight entertainment systems for business aircraft.

iRobot Names Gary Cohen as New CEO

iRobot, a leader in consumer robots, today announced that Gary Cohen will serve as the company’s new chief executive officer, effective immediately. Mr. Cohen has more than 25 years of executive leadership and turnaround experience. As iRobot CEO, he will lead the company’s transformational strategy to re-orient toward profitability following a recent operational restructuring.

The company’s Board of Directors has named David Wrenn, previously Chief Operating Officer, as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. This follows the departure of Jonathan Yaney, the founder and former CEO, who has fully endorsed Wrenn’s promotion.
