Oracle Names Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia as New CEOs

Oracle Corporation announced the promotion of Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia to the roles of Chief Executive Officers. Clay Magouyrk, previously President, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), joined Oracle in 2014 from Amazon Web Services. As a founding member of Oracle’s cloud engineering team, Clay has overseen the design, implementation and business success of Gen2 of OCI. Mike Sicilia, formerly President, Oracle Industries, brings deep expertise in vertical applications and applied AI. Joining Oracle through the acquisition of Primavera Systems, Mike’s engineering teams pioneered the use of intent-based application generation to replace traditional coding for building Oracle applications.
T-Mobile Names Srini Gopalan as New CEO

T-Mobile said Srinivasan Gopalan would take over as CEO, marking a leadership transition as the telecom company works to defend its 5G lead in a saturated U.S. wireless market. Gopalan, currently the chief operating officer of T-Mobile, had held senior leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, Capital One and Vodafone and most recently served as the CEO of Deutsche Telekom’s Germany business, where he was credited with doubling the company’s growth rate and scaling its fiber business.
Pandora Names Berta de Pablos-Barbier as New CEO

Pandora named Berta de Pablos-Barbier, its chief of marketing, a former executive, as its new chief executive officer. Berta joined Pandora as chief marketing officer last year after a four-year stint as chief executive of LVMH’s champagne business Moet & Chandon. Prior to that, she was chief growth officer at Mars Wrigley, chief marketing officer of Lacoste, and head of marketing and communications at Kering-owned jeweler Boucheron. Pandora said the appointment follows a global search process as part of the board’s long-term succession planning, adding that de Pablos-Barbier was hired last year as a possible CEO candidate.
L’Oreal Names Alexis Perakis-Valat as New CEO

L’Oréal is shaking up its US leadership and announced that Alexis Perakis-Valat will step into the role of chief executive of its American business. Perakis-Valat, currently president of the company’s consumer products division, which includes brands like Maybelline and L’Oréal Paris, has been at L’Oréal, more than 30 years.
